    The Ghana Reinsurance Awards ceremony, “Cedants’ Awards Night” was established eight (8) years ago, to show appreciation to its cedants for their diligent efforts, loyalty and support for Ghana Re. The occasion is also used to recognise and reward some of these companies which made notable contributions within a particular financial year towards the growth and profitability of the Company.

    The award ceremony for today was in respect of the 2016 financial year’s performance and under the theme “Embracing Technological Innovations for the Growth of the Insurance Industry”.

    The Guest Speaker for the occasion was Mr. Ebenezer Asante, Chief Executive Officer, MTN, Ghana and the Chairman was Mr. Peter Osei Duah, former Managing Director of SIC Insurance Co. Ltd. In attendance was the Commissioner of Insurance, Mr. Justice Ofori.

    The Award recipients were:

    2. LIFE BUSINESS
    Cedant of the Year (2016) - Enterprise Life Assurance Company Ltd

    3. BROKER BUSINESS
    Broker of the Year (2016) Broker Business - KEK Brokers Ltd
