2022 CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Two institutions benefited from the Company’s  2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, namely Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital and Ghana Heart Foundation. The two institutions received medical equipment and cash totaling  an amount of GH¢186,310.00.

Ghana Re has over the years supported Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital (PML) to effectively provide healthcare for children. PML received medical equipment and five (5) desk top computers worth GH¢126,310.00.  The said items will go a long way in helping PML to effectively administer patient care.

Ghana Heart Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to assist patients undergo heart surgeries, also received a cheque for an amount of GH¢60,000.00 Ghana Re’s donation is in response to Ghana Heart Foundation’s (GHF) appeal for support. The cost of heart surgeries keeps going up in Ghana and a lot of people undergoing the procedure cannot afford it.
