Mr. Kojo Abdul Ghaffar Guar-Gorman

Kojo Abdul Ghaffar Guar-Gorman is a dynamic and results-oriented professional with expertise spanning insurance consulting, enterprise risk management, and strategic business development. He holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Risk Management from the University of Ghana Business School and currently serves as the Business Development & Strategy Manager.

Kojo has held key positions in reputable institutions, including Risk Officer and Business Development Team Lead at Vanguard Assurance Company Limited, where he led initiatives in enterprise risk, broker relations, training, and digital transformation. As Chief Operations Officer at M & G Insurance Brokers Limited, he ensured the operational efficiency and growth of the company’s technical and support services.

Kojo has demonstrated consistent leadership in aligning business strategies with market trends, developing innovative digital tools for enhanced customer satisfaction, and driving operational improvements across the insurance value chain.

He is a proud Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (FCIIG), a prestigious designation recognizing his in-depth expertise and leadership in Ghana’s insurance industry. As a Fellow, he actively contributes to the development of the profession through mentoring, training, and participating in CIIG’s technical and education committees.

He is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK), through which he stays abreast of the best global practices in insurance and financial risk. His participation in international forums and continued professional development under the CII strengthens his capacity to design and implement world-class insurance solutions tailored to local and regional markets.
