On October 7, 2024, Ghana Reinsurance PLC (Ghana Re) formally opened its Morocco Office in Casablanca realizing a long-held vision of broadening the Company’s footprints across the continent. As Ghana’s foremost reinsurer, establishing the Casablanca office is a significant milestone for Ghana Re driven by the Company’s desire to enhance its visibility and solidify its position in the North African market. The launch of the office held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Casablanca, highlights the Company’s commitment to growing its presence in North Africa and positioning itself to better serve its clients across the region.

The decision to open a regional office in Casablanca and Morocco was driven by the country’s strategic location, stable government, and flourishing economy, making it an ideal hub for the Company’s North African operations following previous successful expansions into Cameroon and Kenya.
