Felicia Oye Armah currently heads the Life Department of Ghana Reinsurance Company Ltd, having joined in 2006 as a Life Reinsurance Underwriting Officer. She is an accomplished Reinsurance Underwriter with over 21 years’ experience; 5 years in Direct Life Insurance and over 16 years in Reinsurance Business (Life and Non-Life).
She started her career at the Ministry of Finance in 1989 and has gained extensive experience in Economic Policy Management.
Felicia is Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and Ghana respectively. She is also a holder of Diploma in Insurance from the West African Insurance Institute (WAII), an MBA from the Webster University Walker School of Business and Technology, St. Louis, USA and a BA (Hons) French and Linguistics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
She has attended several workshops and seminars that has enriched her experience. She has also served as a Resource Person for Ghana Re’s seminars for the life insurance market in Ghana and Cameroun, respectively. She has also facilitated several in-house trainings for several life insurance companies in Ghana.
