Leslie Shang-Simpson is a technology executive with broad expertise in IT infrastructure management, computer systems administration, network engineering, cybersecurity, project management, and applications support. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Engineering from KNUST and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School.

Leslie is a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS) and is also affiliated with City & Guilds, UK. In his role as Head of IT at Ghana Reinsurance PLC, he has led major digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of Microsoft virtualization for disaster recovery, migration of the company’s email system to MS Exchange 2016, and development of a bespoke Life Reinsurance Management System.

Prior to this, Leslie served in IT leadership roles at First Atlantic Bank and Accra Brewery Ltd, where he enhanced IT operations and security, deployed critical banking applications, and supported enterprise systems across departments.

Leslie’s interests include football, music, and exploring emerging technologies.
