
Mr. Masawudu Mahama is a governance and human resource professional with experience in the insurance industry and public sector administration. At Serene Insurance Company Limited, he served as Human Resources Manager, leading initiatives on employee performance, workplace culture, and talent development.
He also provided Board support and later served as Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, coordinating governance processes and Board-related activities.
Mr. Mahama currently serves as a Technical Advisor to the Honourable Minister for Finance. His career also includes experience in legislative research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement within Ghana’s Parliament.
His combined experience in insurance operations, corporate governance, and public sector policy provides him with a broad perspective that supports the Board’s oversight responsibilities and decision-making processes.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in International Development from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. He is also pursuing certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi).
