Elizabeth Ashie is a seasoned insurance professional with a strong background in reinsurance underwriting, claims management, marketing, and business development. She is particularly skilled in facultative and treaty underwriting, strategic leadership, and capacity building, with a notable ability to navigate diverse cultural and professional environments.
Elizabeth holds an MSc in International Business from the University of Ghana Business School, is a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK), a Chartered Administrator from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators and also a member of the Chartered Insurance Ladies Association of Ghana.
In her current role at Ghana Reinsurance PLC, she oversees technical and administrative operations of the Francophone department, leads regional market development efforts, and manages underwriting for the Moroccan office.
Previously, Elizabeth held administrative and academic roles including Administrative Officer at Expert Travel and Tours, Administrator at Alpha Beta Educational Centre and French Lecturer & Translator at the Ghana Institute of Languages.
Her interests include Christian literature, mentoring, leadership coaching, and social giving.
