Priscilla Asimakua Assan is a dedicated insurance and reinsurance professional with over 20 years of experience, including more than 15 years in reinsurance underwriting. She currently serves as the Head of Domestic Operations – Team I at Ghana Reinsurance PLC, where she leads client management, underwriting strategy, and operational execution.
Priscilla is recognized for her ability to balance technical expertise with strong leadership and customer service. She has participated in numerous local and international training programs, particularly in enterprise risk management, agricultural insurance, and customer-centric underwriting. Her consultative approach has earned her a reputation for delivering tailored solutions to diverse clientele across Ghana’s insurance market.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from GIMPA and a Master of Science degree in Business Consulting and Enterprise Risk Management from KNUST. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII–UK), a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CII–GH), and also affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance (CILAG–GH).
